Welcome to Upchurch Elementary, the home of the Leapers! We are proud to be selected as a 2024 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The U.S. Department of Education recognizes excellence through its National Blue Ribbon Schools. A school can be recognized either for academic excellence or for progress in closing achievement gaps. Upchurch was recognized for exemplary high performance. Specifically, Upchurch was recently ranked in the top 2% for math proficiency and the top 4% for reading proficiency. Only four Nebraska schools are designated as Blue Ribbon Schools each year, and we are thrilled to be among them!
